Last updated: March 23, 2026
This Editorial Policy explains how Mustah Care creates, reviews, publishes, and corrects content. It is designed to protect readers, preserve editorial independence, and ensure every health and wellness article meets high standards of accuracy, transparency, and ethics.
Editorial Principles
- Accuracy and Evidence — All medical and health claims must be supported by reliable sources such as peer reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and recognized health organizations. When evidence is limited we state that clearly and avoid prescriptive language.
- Medical Integrity — Content that addresses diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision making is reviewed by qualified clinicians before publication. We do not provide personalized medical advice.
- Reader First — Content is written for clarity and practical use. We prioritize actionable guidance, clear definitions, and step by step explanations that non specialists can follow.
- Independence — Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial partners. Advertising, sponsored content, and product recommendations are clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial content.
- Respect and Inclusion — We use respectful, non stigmatizing language and consider cultural and regional differences in health practices and access.
Content Types and Standards
- Medical and Condition Guides
- Must include an author with credentials and a named medical reviewer.
- Must cite primary sources and link to clinical guidelines where available.
- Must include a clear medical disclaimer and last updated date.
- Ingredient and Product Explainers
- Must summarize mechanism of action, evidence for use, common dosing or concentrations when applicable, safety concerns, and known interactions.
- Must separate evidence summary from commercial product mentions.
- Wellness and Lifestyle Articles
- Must be evidence informed and avoid unproven claims. Practical tips must be safe and broadly applicable.
- Recipes and Nutrition Content
- Must include clear ingredient lists, portion guidance, and allergy notes. Nutrition claims must be supported by reputable sources.
- News and Research Summaries
- Must link to original studies and note limitations. Headlines must not overstate findings.
- User Generated Content and Comments
- Comments are moderated. We do not treat comments as editorial content and we remove medical advice posted by non clinicians when it could be harmful.
Authors, Reviewers, and Attribution
- Author Credentials — Every article lists the author name and a short bio that includes relevant qualifications or experience. For freelance contributors we verify identity and expertise.
- Medical Reviewers — Clinical articles are reviewed and signed off by a qualified medical professional with relevant specialty. Reviewer name, title, and a short credential summary appear on the article page.
- Editorial Review Process — Drafting, fact checking, clinical review, legal review when required, and final editorial approval are documented for each article.
- Conflicts of Interest — Authors and reviewers disclose relevant financial relationships. Disclosures are published on the article page and in the reviewer directory.
- Attribution and Sourcing — Sources are cited inline and listed at the end of each article. We prefer primary literature and official guidelines over secondary summaries.
Corrections, Updates, and Retractions
- Update Cadence — Pillar pages and clinical guides are reviewed at least every six months or sooner when new evidence emerges. Date of last review is displayed prominently.
- Corrections Policy — If an error is identified we correct it promptly, add a correction note to the article, and update the last updated date. Substantive corrections include a brief explanation of what changed and why.
- Retractions — In rare cases where content is fundamentally flawed or harmful we remove the article and publish a retraction notice explaining the reason. Removed content is archived internally for audit.
- Reader Reports — Readers can report errors using the Contact page. Reports are triaged and acknowledged within five business days.
Sponsored Content, Advertising, and Commercial Relationships
- Clear Labeling — Sponsored articles, paid placements, and affiliate links are clearly labeled as such. Sponsored content is created under a separate workflow and must meet the same editorial standards.
- Separation of Editorial and Commercial Teams — Commercial partnerships do not influence editorial decisions. Contracts with partners do not grant editorial approval rights.
- Affiliate Disclosures — Product pages and articles that include affiliate links display a clear disclosure near the top of the page.
- Product Testing and Reviews — When we publish product reviews we disclose testing methods, sample sources, and any compensation or samples received.
Governance, Transparency, and Contact
- Editorial Oversight — An editorial lead is responsible for policy enforcement, reviewer recruitment, and final approvals. A documented workflow governs content creation, review, and publication.
- Reviewer Directory — We maintain a public directory of medical reviewers with credentials and areas of expertise. Reviewer conflicts of interest are listed.
- Privacy and Data Use — Editorial processes that use user data follow our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. Personal health information submitted to the site is handled with care and not used for editorial profiling without explicit consent.
- Appeals and Complaints — If you believe content violates this policy you may submit a complaint via mustahcare@gmail.com. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days.
- Contact — For editorial inquiries, corrections, or partnership requests contact editorial@mustahcare.com.
